"The entire establishment is without a doubt – and in the best possible sense – a terrific surprise, in that every fabric of the set-up reflects international standards unseen in very few other places in the UK…let alone East Anglia! From the valet parking to the reception set-up, to the warm and professional service from all the staff….every little detail and particularity served a specific purpose; namely to ensure the guest’s stay is relaxing, discrete, light-hearted and enriching. Our room was such a delight! To have open access to those beautiful gardens where nature seemed uninterrupted by our presence was a priceless bonus and the minimalist but fully-equipped furnishings in the room ensured that our stay remained uncluttered as our minds hopefully would. A great deal of thought has gone into all these details and they deserve to be appreciated and enjoyed by many guests in the future. [….] The food was exceptional – the thoughtfulness applied to tastes and combinations was mindblowing! Just like Lifehouse itself, the dishes encouraged us to try new ideas…and we were completely sold on the result! We both usually find that our fussiness leaves us with little choice on the menu…our problem here was that we were tempted by virtually every dish! Beautiful. [….] I enjoyed a jog in the gardens followed by a yoga class in the morning and our treatments the previous day were fantastic – unlike many ‘promises’ the instant results were visible and illustrated that regular treatments would indeed have more permanent effects."
